It's Just Brittany
Who would have known that Brittany Cherie Williams, a little country girl from Clifton Forge, VA would ever be a “beauty queen.” As a little girl she was a dancer, girl scout, cheerleader and loved arts and crafts. As she got a little older, she just loved being one of the guys, emulating her favorite athletes like Deion Sanders, Emmitt Smith, Dave Justice, Shaq and pretending to be WWF wrestlers with her brother, cousins and friends.
She became an all star athlete playing soccer, softball, volleyball, basketball and track, with numerous high school records, honors, and championships. Not only a talented athlete, but an honors student, class President for 3 consecutive years, and volunteer for many organizations. After graduating from Alleghany High School, Brittany made her second home Harrisonburg, VA as student at James Madison University. At JMU she remainded committed to community service as a mentor with Big Brothers Big Sisters and a leader I in the Alternative Spring Break program, traveling to Dominica, West Indes two years in a row for a community development and emersion program. In addition, she continued her track career, becoming Pledge Class President and member of Alpha Kappa Psi professional business fraternity, worked as a Resident Advisor as well as in the Catering and Special events department. After spending a semester as an intern at Walt Disney World, she was conviced that she was meant for the hospitality industry. After graduating with a BBA in Hospitality and Tourism Management, the bright lights of Las Vegas were calling. Just a month later, eager to experience new things, she was on a plane headed to the most exciting city in the world. With just 2 suitcases, a little cash and no place to live just a few years ago, Brittany has made a place for herself. As a young professional, holding management positions at Caesars Palace, graduate student at the University of Las Vegas, Nevada, and philanthropist, working with numerous charities and causes, including her own creation, B.YOUtiful, Brittany is a shining example for all young women with the perfect balance of beauty, intelligence, character, poise and strength.
Brittany is the former Miss United States. Working very closely with her platform Building Self-Esteem and Empowering Young Women, she used her title, personal struggles with self-esteem and body image and journey learning how to Just B. to create B.YOUtiful and B.Real. B.YOUtiful and B.Real are not just about winning a pageant, the mission, an attitude and the way of life for the Queen B. Due to her passion for strengthening herself, community and young women globally, Brittany is a student at the University of Las Vegas, Nevada, working toward a graduate degree in Clinical Mental Health and Counseling to further the mission of B.YOUtiful, B.Real, and B.Inspired!
